From subject matter expert to strategic knowledge partner
Subject matter experts hold much more than factual knowledge. They bring practical experience, professional judgement, insight into exceptions and an understanding of what works in real situations.
However, in many organisations, that expertise remains locked in people’s heads rather than shared across teams.
