MOOC: Personalized learning

On the 25^th of November the MOOC on personalized learning will begin. We will explore together how personalized learning benefits you, emphasizing its importance in today’s data-driven and AI-powered world.

A MOOC, or Massive Open Online Course, is based on social learning. In four weeks, you will work closely with colleagues in the Learning and Development field, focusing on interaction and discussion. Learning from and with each other is the essence to this course, as we believe this exchange leads to the most profound learning experiences.

This MOOC is ideal for L&D professionals at all levels and roles—whether you’re a manager or a developer, you are welcome to join. You will gain valuable insights, practical tools, and new connections that can be applied in various contexts. In addition, we invite Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from the L&D field to add depth to the course, and we share best practices from organizations that have successfully, or unsuccessfully, implemented personalized learning. This gives you a unique opportunity to learn from real-world examples.

The MOOC is fully designed to help you gain a deep understanding of personalized learning and all its related aspects. The course is divided into four themed weeks, where we will engage in discussions and enrich each other’s insights:

1. Introduction to personalized learning: What exactly is personalized learning? Together, we will create a shared framework to build upon in the following weeks.
2. Why is personalized learning so relevant? In a rapidly changing world, personalized learning is becoming increasingly important. We will discuss why this concept is indispensable right now.
3. How to implement personalized learning effectively? We will explore the best ways to apply this concept in your organization. What should you consider during implementation, what are the pitfalls, and how do you overcome them?
4. The future of personalized learning: AI is having an ever-greater impact on personalized learning. This week, we will examine how AI is intertwined with personalized learning and what this means for the future.

The MOOC starts on November 25 and runs until December 23. Each week, a new theme will be unlocked, allowing you to work at your own pace, fully online.
