After successful pilots with education and healthcare partners, it is time for a big leap forward. With The LearnSpot, the new and proven educational model will become available via Next Learning Valley's learning experience platform (LXP) for BOL and BBL students, and in the short term for all learners (employed, lateral entrants) in the Care and Wellness sector.
Jos Maassen of Next Learning Valley says, "It is now more important than ever for professionals to be able to learn quickly and flexibly within the healthcare sector. And also for organizations within welfare, such as education and childcare, The LearnSpot as a modern and flexible educational model offers incredible opportunities. We are honored to provide the learning platform and didactics in this special collaboration."
Say you work as a nurse and you want to advance to the anesthesia department. Then within The LearnSpot you can follow education in no time in a flexible way. Online, physical, personalized with workplace assignments: what you want and what suits you. It is the mix of learning in practice, live meetings and online development that makes the LearnSpot unique.
This new way of learning is also ideal for lateral entrants. You put together your own learning program and choose whether you want to go for a diploma, or whether you want further training (e.g. by doing an internship) without an official certificate. So that you gain new skills, or expand your skills. Not only for the commercial market is The Learnspot of added value: it is system breaking for education with civil value.
Based on your learning behavior, your needs and interests, you get new suggestions. Data-driven learning, is also called that. In the learning platform or via email, learners are kept informed about potentially interesting new learning experiences. The result: even more personalized education that you can follow at a time that suits you, at your own pace and based on (daily fresh) content that you really find interesting.
"The LearnSpot allows us to respond quickly to ever-changing conditions" Jos explains. "With our partners, we can provide faster, finer-grained and more personalized training with customized routes. Moreover, you learn and work with people around you who understand how the new learning works. Let's hope more people start asking themselves: what has (more) value? One diploma? Or ten recognized certificates? We are incredibly looking forward to it!"
