From physical on-site courses to online training: family-owned MADURO. has made the move to blended learning. Their collection of trainings in the areas of resilience, personal development and vitality can now be followed in every possible way, location and device. Accredited and all.

How it was

"We had been so busy for a while that sometimes I had to sell 'no.' Simply because there aren't enough hours in a week. And then the first wave came in March 2020. It had shot through our heads a few times before then that offering online training would be a nice complement to our on-site physical training. But yes, how then? And when do you start? Because of the state of the world at the time, that need suddenly became even greater."

How things are going now

"Together with François, I converted our physical training courses to an online version on Next Learning Valley's LXP. We thought about content, what the learning paths should look like and tested extensively. The online courses consist of learning experiences (watch a video, read a blog, do an exercise) that last a maximum of 10 minutes. Participants can choose when, where and how often to spend time on their online training.

Great for the learners, and great for us: the scalability of MADURO. has been increased. We think blended learning is the future. The LXP facilitates us to offer the perfect match in that combination of online and offline. We hear the same from our users. When we just started, we noticed that some clients and participants thought: will this work? Now we get positive feedback from many parties and we also hear: 'wow, can't this also work, or that?' Super fun."

What's coming

"It would be nice if we can continue to offer and further expand the combination of on- and offline training. Recently, we have noticed an increasing need for this. In addition, we see more and more opportunities for organization-specific content. An organization has an enormous amount of knowledge. Knowledge that can be used. At the same time, we remain specialists in our own field (namely resilience) and provide valuable content creation together with the organization."
